This beautiful poem was written by one of our volunteers, Jessica Brown, this past summer.  God gave her the poem on a Sunday morning as she watched all the kids at church.

“You See Orphans…..I See Our Future”

“As I look around me
Into these children’s eyes
I see restoration happening…..
A deep transformation of lives.

A grace for a new generation,
A covering from a family curse,
A new spiritual obligation
To put the devil’s schemes in reverse!

I see pure, nourishing innocence
Being poured out like a flood;
They are not an army of hesitance…
But boldly proclaiming the Blood!

They are no longer forgotten;
They are no longer despised;
They are ushered and brought in
To the Kingdom of LIFE.

They are given every good thing
And an authority of fierce power.
They walk in royal identity…
Any hindrance they devour.

They carry relentless love
And a grace beyond reason.
They walk in the things above
And carry a deeper freedom!

For it’s the foolish things of this earth
That will shame the wise,
And a holy army of children
Is now on the RISE!
