April ‘09 Update

Because 7 of the 35 homes for orphans are now completed at Restoration Gateway (RG), we began last month searching for women who will be the moms of our future orphans. We are now investing in 3 women as we orient and train them to care for the children God has already chosen for us.
Hopefully, by the end of May we’ll begin the process of acquiring the children we’re to raise at RG. Thank you for your prayers as we have begun this strategic phase of the vision.
Our largest building, the 2-story administration/auditorium/library school building, is nearing completion. We hope to have it finished by mid-May. This multi-purpose building will be used for many things, including our morning devotions and Sunday church services, even before we have our school up and running.
Last month RG was blessed to have a container shipped from Waco, Texas packed full of items that are desperately needed. One item we’ve been eagerly awaiting is a new tractor generously donated by dear friends of RG last year.
Daily devotions with our 45+ workers continue to produce much fruit. We are blessed to see the people God has given us growing in the Lord, hearing His voice, and proclaiming His faithfulness to others. God continues to bring healing and freedom to the broken people of northern Uganda. Thank you for abiding with us in pray.
