My name is Susan Mikeska, my brother is David Hodges-I think you may know him. I’m a graduate student at Baylor in the Family Nurse Practitioner program and will be going on the mission trip to Uganda with the school in March. I couldn’t believe it when our professor said your name-I immediately recognized it and called David-he said ya’ll hadn’t stayed in touch but he knew you had been on the mission field. I’m so excited about working with your team-this looks like an awesome ministry. See you in March.
Hi, We are with Trinity Bible Church in Aledo, Texas. We will be arriving in Uganda the first 2 weeks of August and are waiting to see what we can do to help. Anything that we should be aware of while going in a couple weeks?
My name is Melissa Elliott. My husband Shawn and I just returned from RG with the Trinity Bible Church team. We had the pleasure of spending 9 days at RG and cannot even express in words what joy our hearts are feeling! God is doing such a mighty work at RG!
I had been praying for a place in Uganda that I could get involved and help make a difference for Christ and God sent us to RG! Tim, Janice, and all the people/workers at RG. Please know our stay with you has been life changing. You are in our hearts and our prayers and as I sat last night with my family and friends, we are already finding ways to fund raise, save and cut back so that we can come back next year!
Hello Tim and Janice!!!
I miss you guys and Uganda soo much! Every time I get on the website I am brought to tears just seeing all the kids that I met when I was there and lots of new faces! I have recently become engaged! My wonderful fiance Jeremy Alspaugh proposed two Sunday afternoons ago. My ring is beautiful and our future is even more beautiful. I’m looking forward to seeing how God will use us to serve Uganda and Restoration Gateway. Jeremy owns a gymnastics facility called Iron Cross Gymnastics in Richmond, TX, southwest of Houston where he ministers love, encouragement, and athleticism to kids daily. He works with ages 2-18. I am currently an assistant manager for a Wal-Mart in Sugar Land. It’s a very demanding and challenging job, but I’m loving it so much! The people (and many there are) that I work with are like family to me now. They are outstanding. I’ll also be teaching part time at a dance studio in the area soon! Our wedding will be August 22nd. So, if you two are planning on being in the U.S.A. at that time, please let me know. We’d love for you to attend our wedding! Also, are the % numbers on the pages for the fundraising on this website accurate? In the future, I’d like to do some financial recruiting for Restoration Gateway. I love recruiting period…especially for Ugandan orphans!!! My schedule in the position I hold right now is very demanding and inconsistent, but when I change into a position that is more consistent, I feel that it would be very fun to reach out to my community and beyond on behalf of Restoration Gateway. Please email me and let me know how you guys are doing. MUCH MUCH MUCH LOVE!!!
Sincerely,
Kalette Krampitz
