During a Q & A time with children, one of the questions Dr. Tim McCall fielded was, “How do you still have all of your teeth?”

Many in northern Uganda have no access to dental care. They live with pain and the typical answer to dental problems is to pull the tooth, which often breaks in the process, causing bigger problems.

Restoration Gateway plans to build a quality dental clinic to help alleviate both the immediate and future lack of dental care. Want to make a real, felt difference? Give, Go, or both!

The clinic will serve two functional needs:

• A public primary care facility
• A training facility for Ugandan Dental Students

Two of our youngest orphans arrived at Restoration Gateway just a few days ago.  David (5) and Christopher (3) were brought to RG by Nancy, a police woman who realized that the boys had no one to care for them and had actually been rummaging in the dirt for food. She found that David and Christopher shared everything they could find to eat…..even to the point of splitting one peanut between themselves!  If they found food they’d eat it all at once, not knowing if or when they’d find food again.  They were wearing no clothes, but she bought cloth and had the outfits made that David and Christopher are wearing in the picture.

David and Christopher are happily playing at RG now and have become the brothers of 62 other children.  They are such a testimony of the Father’s sustaining love.  Thank you for praying that these precious boys will grow to fulfill all the plans that God has for them.
