Restoration Gateway in a Nutshell -
The hope of Uganda is Jesus Christ. We strive to follow Jesus and help others by fulfilling God’s vision and mission for Restoration Gateway. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the orphans and oppressed people of Uganda.
Restoration Gateway is on a mission to develop a Christ-centered community that fosters God’s desire for physical and spiritual restoration in Northern Uganda. Restoration Gateway is a vital component of the redemptive process in this land; in this hour.
Strategically located in Northern Uganda, Restoration Gateway has made a its home on a 500-acre plot overlooking the Nile River. The community will unfold as a reproducible model with key elements including:
• Loving homes, education, and healthcare for 300-350 orphaned children
• Biblical training for church planters, missionaries, and local pastors
• A healthcare facility to provide ministry to the sick while equipping physicians, dentists,
nurses, and other healthcare workers
• A camp for children and a retreat center for Ugandan pastors
• Agricultural and fishery projects to help the subsistence of the community
• A sanctuary for worship and teaching scripture
• A school for job training and professional skill development
• Guest quarters for visitors interested in the future of Uganda and Restoration Gateway
Tim and Janice McCall, previous missionaries to Nigeria for 12 years, preside over the project. They are the first of many Restoration Gateway inhabitants.
“This service that your perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!”
2 Corinthians 9:12-15
